Totems
For these collages I explored placement of magazine cutouts, arriving at having the pieces balancing on top of each other, I was thinking of totem poles, each piece balanced, touching the one below.
I created emotional connections with colour and recognizable subjects in the cutouts, they have differing impacts, the ones posted have the most meaning for me.
